Valuation of IP high on the list of priorities for in-house patent managers

Simon Benns of The Legal Exchange Network sent me some preliminary survey results indicating in what Heads of IP will be investing in the coming 12 months. Valuation analysts should take note:  nearly 70% of them will be investing in IP valuation.

75.9% - Investing in IP investigations

66.7% - Patent drafting and filing

69% - Valuation of IP

60% - Monetization of IP

57.2% - Patent renewal management (administration)

51.6% - Translation services

42.9% - Anti-counterfeiting tools
