Sesame Street to candidates: “remove Sesame Street characters and trademarks from campaign materials”

A new Obama campaign ad pokes fun at Mitt Romney's mention of Big Bird and PBS as budget slashing targets at the debate by labeling the yellow-feathered giant an "evil genius who towered over" other financial wrongdoers. It appears the image of Big Bird is being used without permission, infringing intellectual property rights, and Sesame Street isn't happy, issuing a politically correct statement to both parties requesting that the image not be used.
