For Valuation Purposes, Here Comes a Pure Damages Case (Oracle v SAP)

In 2005 SAP purchased TommorrowNow, a firm that services Oracle software.  TomorrowNow is accused of downloading more than 10,000 files of Oracle-owned software. As the owner of TomorrowNow, SAP has already admitted they have the ultimate financial responsibility for the copyright infringement.  This could mean we will get a pure damages verdict here, ripe for valuation analysis. We have our ear to the ground on this one.
