The 2022 AAML/BVR National Divorce Conference is only two weeks away! With the conference just over the horizon, we thought it only fitting that we introduce a few more of the amazing speakers slated to present. If you missed the first "Meet the Speakers" article, you can catch up here. With out further ado, let’s meet our speakers!

Adam John Wolff

Credentials: Attorney at Law

For 25 years, Adam John Wolff has settled, and, if necessary, litigated and tried disputes involving divorce, equitable distribution, custody and visitation, and Adam John Wolffother areas of family law and matrimonial practice. Adam's unique ability to understand complex financial aspects of complicated cases, while remaining sensitive to the deeply personal issues of family law matters as well as maintaining a dry wit, distinguishes him in the industry.

His commitment to clear and persuasive writing benefits the firm's clients in both settlement and litigation. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, where he holds several leadership positions, including as president of the New York chapter. Adam is also part of the 2022 AAML/BVR National Divorce Conference's event committee.

James R. Hitchner:

Credentials: CPA/ABV, ASA

Mr. Hitchner is a managing director with Financial Valuation Advisors Inc. (FVA), a firm specializing in valuation, financial, and litigation/forensic services.  He also Jim Hitchnerfounded Valuation Products and Services (VPS), a company devoted to BV education through its publications, webinars, and other resources.

Mr. Hitchner is the editor and co-author of Financial Valuation Applications and Models, 3rd edition; co-author of the Financial Valuation Workbook, 3rd edition; co-author of Valuation for Financial Reporting, Intangible Assets, Goodwill and Impairment Analysis, SFAS 141 and 142, 3rd edition; and co-author of PPC's Guide to Business Valuation, 23rd edition. Jim is a part of the 2022 AAML/BVR National Divorce Conference's event committee.

Stacy Collins

Credentials: CPA/ABV, CFF

Ms. Collins has been in the accounting profession since 1989 and has specialized in business valuation and related issues since 1993. She is a frequent speaker and author on business valuation, forensic accounting, and related issues. Her Stacy Collinsexperience includes marital dissolution cases, corporate litigation, estate planning valuations, and transactions. She has provided expert witness testimony on valuation/forensic accounting issues in several states.

Ms. Collins is a charter member of the Forensic and Business Valuation Division of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) Foundation. She has been a faculty member for several years with the Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute, sponsored by the American Bar Association, and the AAML’s Institute for Family Law Associates. Stacy is also one of the co-chairs for the 2022 AAML/BVR National Divorce Conference's event committee.
