BVR’s first-ever Online Tax Summit to feature top judges, lawyers, and experts
Beginning next month, BVR’s 2011 Tax Summit will deliver the same cutting-edge programming on the intersection of taxes and valuation in a new, interactive, online format. Sessions include:
- Estate of Gallagher: How the Court Sees the State of Business Valuation Chris Mercer (Mercer Capital) and attorney L. Paul Hood Jr. examine the recentGallagher decision by the U.S. Tax Court and how it will impact analysts’ use of the guideline public company method, tax affecting, normalization adjustments, marketability discounts, and more. - Lawyers Roundtable: What Attorneys are Seeing in Tax Court & What They Are Looking For in Expert Financial Witnesses Jay Fishman (Financial Research Associates) hosts a roundtable with Stephanie Loomis-Price (Winstead PC) andEdward M. Robbins Jr. (Hochman, Salkin, Rettig, Toscher & Perez P.C.) on what courts want in credible, comprehensive tax-related valuations. (Friday, October 28th)
- In Judges Roundtable: View From the Bench, the Tax Court judges will get their turn—with Hon. David Laro and Hon.
