Good example of BV firm branding

Decosimo CPAs sent BVR a great press release describing their leadership at next week’s 11th Annual Valuation of Hard-to-Value Securities and Portfolios Conference hosted by the Financial Research Associates (FRA) on June 28-29 in New York City. Decosimo’s Karl J. Jordan is chair of the event.

Marshall Harvey, CPA.CFE, an assurance principal with Decosimo's investment partnership specialty team, will be presenting on the topic "Valuation Hierarchy - Defining and Clarifying ASC 820's Sophisticated Leveling Issues."

Decosimo tells BVR that they consistently sponsor FRA's educational conferences—they are slated to provide support and presenters at upcoming valuation for hard-to-value portfolios and hedge fund accounting events. So, the sponsorship and speaking model appears to be working well for them.
