Damodaran wins highest honor from his alma mater, IIM Bangalore

Friend-of-the-valuation profession Aswath Damodaran has just been handed the highest honor from The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore Alumni Association --their Distinguished Alumnus Award for 2010. The Award is “given every year to those chosen few alumni of IIMB who have excelled in industry or academia and also contributed to the society.”

Aswath was recognized as a leader on the subject of valuation.  The awards committee specifically cited his “top-notch books on equity valuation, corporate finance, and investment,” as well as the fact that Business Week recently ranked him one of the top 12 US business school professors.
