On the Origin of Veterinary Practice Valuation

A huge disparity exists within a chain of the animal kingdom: while veterinarians and other animal health specialists have diversified greatly to meet the expansive variety found amongst their patients, appraisers charged with finding the appropriate value of those practices have yet to find such a degree of specialization. Indeed, making sense of practice types, value and business drivers, and tricky questions like personal versus professional goodwill can be difficult at best.

Thankfully, On September 2 a triumvirate of veterinary valuation experts will provide hands-on guidance to help business appraisers through this varied and troublesome arena in “Veterinary Practice Valuation: Transactions and Transitions in Today’s Markets,” a 100-minute teleconference. Veterinary practice broker David Greene and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Byron Farquer will join Cindy Eddins Collier, Co-Editor of BVR’s Guide to Healthcare Valuation for a 100-minute discussion on all the ins, outs, and need-to-knows of veterinary practice valuation.

It all begins at 10:00 am PT/1:00 pm ET. Two CPE credits are available for listeners. For more information or to register, click here.
