On June 2nd, the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) published an Exposure Draft of new proposed “International Valuation Standards”. The new standards address the valuation of most types of assets in addition to a new proposed standard for financial instruments. The IVSC invites comments   invite comments through September 3, 2010 and plans to publish the new standards in January 2011.
