The following groups have joined the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC):

• Malaysia Institute of Accountants (institutional membership);

• Office of the Valuer General of South Africa (institutional membership);

• Singapore University of Social Sciences (academic membership);

• Sao Paulo Polytechnic (academic membership); and

• Chartered Valuers Association of India (provisional VPO membership).

Speaking of India, the IVSC has been meeting with key government bodies there to provide input related to a new law regarding valuation.
