In his latest quarterly message, Parnell Black, CEO of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA), revealed some recent developments at the organization, including:

  • An alliance with a major publisher to help expand efforts into academia and internationally;
  • A new valuation report writer, ZAP Report Builder, via its software partner, ValuSource; and
  • Confirmation that its Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF) credential has been accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), a division of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE), which makes the MAFF and its Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) the only valuation and financial forensic credentials accredited by the NCCA.

Black also mentioned that NACVA just moved into its new offices (1218 E. 7800 S., Suite #301, Sandy, Utah 84094). “Our new offices are very nice but scaled down in size to conform to the new business model we and many others are adapting to, which has many employees working from home,” he writes.
