WIPO is the United Nations agency that attempts to harmonise international IP systems to support balanced development. As part of this effort, they’re now taking a more active position in the financial aspects of intangible assets, and particularly valuation, with a goal of supporting entrepreneurs and enterprises globally.

IVSC hope that the new memorandum will “facilitate the exchange of information and expertise between the two organisations, and will include collaboration in research and development activities, training and capacity building, and the promotion of best practices in the valuation of intellectual property and other intangible assets.”
