Update To Additional Listener CPE Policy

Effective March 5, 2024

In our ongoing efforts to streamline our webinar policies and to provide clarity and ease of use to our attendees, BVR is updating our CPE policies. Effective September 1, 2014 all attendees to BVR's webinars, workshops, and special event who request CPE credit (beyond the user registered with the connection) will be charged a $105 processing fee.

This fee will not be assessed to attendees who purchase a connection to the event or subscribers to BVR's Passport, Passport Pro, or Symposiums. This policy affects only attendees who request CPE credit beyond those credits issued to the connection purchaser.

Updates to CE Surveys

This policy update will require changes to BVR's CE Surveys to allow exempt attendees to bypass the processing fee and to allow non-exempt attendees to enter payment information.

Subscribers
Attendees who subscribe to BVR's Passport, Passport Pro, and Symposiums should log into our website as they normally would to retrieve access instructions or to view the Desktop Learning Center. Once logged in, user information will auto-populate the CE Survey and allow users to submit the form without requiring payment information.

Subscribers will be limited to one CE Survey per subscriber and must use the email address used with their login information.

Exempt Attendees
Attendees who purchase a connection to a webinar, workshop, or special event will be provided a CPE Authentication Code to enter at the end of the CE survey. This code will allow users to bypass the processing fee. The code will be provided on the log in instruction email distributed prior to the event. Please be sure to retain this email so you have access to the code when you are ready to submit your CE survey.

CPE Authentication Codes may be transferred from the purchaser to another attendee. A CE Authentication Code must be used for the event for which it was purchased, and may only be used with one survey.

Non-Exempt Attendees
Attendees who do not meet the criteria above will be prompted to pay a $105 CPE Processing Fee upon submitting their CE survey.

Additional Listener Form

This policy update will not affect BVR's Additional Listener Form, where we ask registered attendees to notify us of who is listening in on registered connections. This form is not a requirement to receive CPE credit, but greatly assists BVR in processing CPE requests in a timely and efficient manner.

BVR's Webinar Usage Policy

This update to our additional listener CPE policy will not affect our existing Webinar Usage Policy, which grants one phone connection and one computer connection per physical location per registration.

BVR invites as many additional views and listeners to those connections as attendees like, and reminds attendees that additional unregistered phone or computer connections are a violation of this policy.
